Well today has been an emotional time. Roxanne is fighting.
The pneumonia is not clearing up and the cancer is growing. They are giving her morphine and antibiotics. She is on a respirator all the time. She is still coughing more and more. She is fighting but the doctors have given her a two week prognosis. Tomorrow they are planning on intubating which is a breathing tube with a camera to see what is all going on down there. In laymans terms it is basically life support. This is one of the hardest blogs for me to write. We are praying and asking God for a miracle!!!! She is very weak and said that she knows she is dying but she is not ready to go. Thank you because we are not ready to let her go. We know she is going to a better place and God will take care of her. He has a plan for her and hopefully it is for her to stay with us. James is doing as well as expected and Justin is having good fun with his cousins. We took Justin and my daughter Kirsten up to see herand she was very happy for that. She told them that she loved them. She is very aware of what is going on.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I have been passing on the comments to Rox when I go in to see her. We appreciate all of the support and calls from everyone.
Cheryl

Roxanne...I am having a hard time with this. I was looking at some pictures tonight of our childhood and school days. There are some pretty funnying ones. I really liked the ones of us getting ready in my room so that we could go "cruising" with Ladine and Leanne. Those were the days. We always tagged along. We were the reason that the " guys" waved at them. I also liked the ones of Verna, Kathy, you and I were walking around Muenster in the cold for hours. We did not even realize how cold it was. We would warm up at the College and then walk again. Our parents knew that were we having a good time. I also remember the treehouse by Al's Welding that would of been a hazard in the days but it held a lot of great memories. That is what we have is memories. I also found a picture of us walking home with Lisa and we were between Vince and Chris' house and that opened a whole nother can of worms. Keep fighting Roxy...Remember " Funky Town" I had my own lyrics to that one. Bad Bad boys, remember our "actions" to that one. Or when you, Lisa, Monique and Darcie did that Egyptian dance at talent night at Muenster High, Monique and her dancing still makes me laugh. I guess you know me, I could go on for days. Grandma used to say " that Trina sure likes to talk ( and eat) that one used to bother me but now I would give anything to hear her say that again. Have a good rest tonight and I will write more tomorrow. I love you Roxanne.....Rest easy and my prayers will continue for you. trina
Cheryl thank you for keeping everyone updated on Roxanne. I grew up in Muenster and Roxanne is a friend of my older sister Carey. Please let her know that that there are so many people from Muenster and those who used to live there, who are praying for her and her family and friends. Word spreads in a small town and so many people are reading this blog daily. I chose Roxanne for my pray today at the high school where I work, I hope it will give her extra strength to keep fighting. Thanks again for the updates.

Roxanne and all your cheer leaders!
Thnaks for keeping us updated Cheryl.
Ive been thinking of you so much, Roxanne. Thank God you are so strong, determined and have such great faith to help you through this.
I keep thinking of what a beautiful person you are, inside and out. I've known you since you first came to Broadview and I tried to bully you into working at the hospital with me. Finally got my wish last spring and how right was I!! You are the great nurse I always suspected you are!! Mind you I also had some inside information from the residents in the "Home" and your home care patients.
We are all praying for you. May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
love you, Shawnee
